Comment : Re: the whitelisting comment; this has been implemented in various
applications, client and server side. Some use challenge/response, others
just use a whitelist to by-pass blacklist checks. These applications arent
specifically indicated on these pages

to develop black lists of spam/spammers, why not use white lists of acceptable
e-mail addresses? This could be maintained by the user/recipient on the

to block spam for a couple of months now. It works better than I expected
and I recommend it to others who are getting a mountain of spam every day.
